Tanka Poetry!

I was introduced to the wonderful tanka poetry from the blog http://withrealtoads.blogspot.com/. This is my attempt at this beautiful form!


The towering tree
Cast an expansive shadow
What pleasure to see
Creating smiles for all
Everyone, including me

    This is a lovely form to use when considering man's connections to the natural world. Yours has a lively rhythm, and really made me happy in the reading.

    Great! Happy everyone enjoyed it! I will most certainly continue writing tanka poems. I love writing about nature and calmness, and tanka poems seem like a perfect form for it!
